State, county and local New Jersey officials joined executives from WinnDevelopment and the non-profit Soldier On, Inc., to mark the start of work on an 84-unit apartment community in West Deptford, NJ, that will deliver affordable housing and comprehensive supportive services for older veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Officials who attended the event in West Deptford included Vincent Solomeno, Commissioner Designate of Veterans Affairs, New Jersey; Township of West Deptford Mayor James P. Mehaffey: Kimberly Gober, Executive Director, Housing Authority of Gloucester County; Jonathan Sternesky, Director of Policy and External Affairs, NJHMFA: Paul Ceppi, Chief Tax Credits/Incentives Officer, NJEDA; and Michael Gallagher, Business Banking Executive for New Jersey, Bank of America.

Construction is underway on the Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans and Seniors Village and plans are being made to schedule a formal groundbreaking event to celebrate.
